Top Ten Tuesday – Fictional Crushes

Hey guys, it’s Tuesday again so it means it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is ten of my fictional crushes!

I have had a couple of fictional crushes across the years, and some of them in this list are not as recent as others, but I thought it would be fun to included them.

  1. Alfie Mack from Before I Saw You

I haven’t technically finished Before I Saw You (I plan to do that tonight) but I absolutely love Alfie Mack. He has such an amazing personality and brings the fun into almost every situation which is something I love.

  1. Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses

I don’t think this pick needs to be justified as I am sure at some point he was everyones book crush. There is just something about the way that he is described that makes him perfect.

  1. Hawke from From Blood and Ash

From a couple of pages into From Blood and Ash I knew that he would be a new fictional crush. I can’t wait to see where his character is going to go in the rest of the series.

  1. Matthew Clairmont from A Discovery of Witches

I remember reading this series and just falling in love with Matthew Clairmont. I can’t really remember why, but it is something that just sticks out. I do plan to do a reread of this series soon, so hopefully I will be able to get to the bottom of why I like him so much.

  1. Roma from These Violent Delights

I love Roma when I first read These Violent Delights, I suppose I really liked the dynamic that he had with Juliette, and just the way that he dealt with situations, I can’t wait to see how his story is going to end.

  1. Peeta from The Hunger Games

Now this one is a bit of a throwback, but when The Hunger Games first came out I remember falling in love with Peeta. If I was to reread the series now I probably wouldn’t be as in love with him, but it is a fictional crush that will always stick because I think he was the first one that I ever had.

  1. Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice

Hasn’t everyone at some point had a crush on Mr Darcy. I have to admit that I probably love the adaptation versions of him more than the original book version.

  1. Warner from Shatter Me

This is a more recent fictional crush, but it is only from the first three books in the series. I hated the second three books and what happened to all of the characters, but I really loved the Warner that was in the first three.

  1. Zafir from Take a Hint, Dani Brown

I could have chosen any of the love interests that Talia Hibbert has written but I have decided to go with Zaf. I loved his vulnerability within the book and the way that he interacted with his family. If I could find me a man like Zaf I would be happy.

  1. Warden from The Bone Season

No list would be complete for me without Warden, even though we don’t actually know much about him. I can’t wait to see what is going to happen in the rest of the series.

There you have it ten of my fictional crushes, I am sure there have been more over the years! Who are some of your fictional crushes? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Aah, seeing Zafir on quite a few lists this week makes me so happy! 😍 He’s such a great character. I also had a *huge* crush on Matthew Clairmont the first time I read Discovery of Witches! Great list 😃
