Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Wish I Could Read Again for The First Time

Hey guys, it’s Tuesday again so it means it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is ten books that I wish that I could read again for the first time.

There are a couple of books that I would love to read again for the first time just to experience the emotions again, or just for the pure fun of it. I have only listed the first books of a series, but they stand for the whole series.

Without further ado, here are the ten books/series that I would like to experience for the first time again.

  1. The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon

I love The Bone Season and it has so many complex plotlines that I would love to experience again. The fun of piecing together the plot was incredible and even though this series is not finished yet, I would love to reread it again.

  1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

I know that this is an obvious one, but I love this story, so to experience it again would be amazing. For everyone who has already read the series you will know what I mean when I mean there is nothing like experience a certain romance from the beginning.

  1. Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
43884209

I love The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert and the romances in them are just adorable. I would love to get to experience the relationships once again, as I think there is just something about seeing how a relationship plays out for the first time.

  1. From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout

From Blood and Ash is a little bit of a strange one, as I generally think that I need a reread of this series without it being the first time, just because of how complex the storyline is. But a bit like A Court of Thorns and Roses, to experience the romance again would be amazing.

  1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows was excellent, and I love it so much, so I would love to be able to read the magic and intracies once again. The scheming within Six of Crows is something to behold and even though it would still be brilliant on a reread, there is nothing like reading it for the first time.

  1. The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant

I love this book so much, and would love to read it for the first time again. There is just something about experiencing the magic once again and getting to see where Kester Grant takes a story that I love so much.

  1. Illuminae by Jay Kristoff & Amie Kaufman
23395680. sy475

I adore this series so much, and I would love to be able to experience the twists and turns of it for the first time. It has so many brilliant characters, and the audiobooks are incredible.

  1. Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
11059675. sy475

I would love to get to read this series for the first time once again, and get to experience all of the battles as they happen as if I was a brand new reader. But I would also hate to still be waiting for the next instalment like many of us are now.

  1. Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon
55600878. sy475

It would be brilliant to get to experience Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon for the first time again. This book makes you go through all of the emotions, and I don’t think there will be anything like a first read of this book.

  1. The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
36478784. sy475

A bit like The Brown Sisters, I would love to get to read The Flatshare for the first time. This anticipation of the will-they won’t-they relationship dynamic in The Flatshare is just brilliant.

There you have it, ten books/series that I would love to read again for the first time!
