WWW Wednesday – 21st July 2021

Hey Everyone, I hope you are doing well! Welcome to my WWW Wednesday post for this week. WWW Wednesday’s is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and all it involves is answering three simple easy questions that I always seem to overcomplicate:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?]

Currently I am reading A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer, but I am aiming to finish it tonight. I have been in a minor reading slump, which I think was caused by Lost in the Never Woods but I am getting back to myself and back to reading. So far I am enjoying A Curse so Dark and Lonely but because it is a reread for me I know most of the plot before it happens so I am getting a little bit bored as it is not a book that I would normally reread, but I want to ahead of picking up the rest of the series.

As I have already mentioned the most recent book that I have finished was Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas. It was one of my most anticipated releases of 2021, but I was sadly disappointed. The pacing of the book felt really strange for me, which kept pulling me out of the book and kept making me want to put it down. If you want to read my full thoughts I have a full review of Lost in the Never Woods on my blog.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The next book that I plan to read is Kings and Daemons by Marcus Lee as I am part of The Write Reads book tour for it which is coming up next week. I have not heard much about Kings and Daemons so I am looking forward to seeing what it is all about. I also have plans to pick up To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo as I am trying to get some of the books I read before I started my blog so I can review them on here.

What are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments below!
