Something in this world that I admire
One of the things that I admire most are flowers. I love that there are so many different varieties and colours and they all have the ability to make you smile. I also love how amazing they all smell. But while they may be amazing to look at they also have some amazing properties which can even help heal.
My favourite form of creativity
I love all forms of creativity and admire all those who can create such amazing works. As an avid reader I have to admit that my favourite form of creativity is writing, I am amazed at the people who can have ideas and make them into amazing works of art.
What colour is your soul?
This is something that I have never considered. I would like to think that my soul is a happy colour which reflects my personality. It would probably be something like a baby pink or a soft purple.
Think about your happiest memory. Then tell me the book/song that you are reminded of?
I had trouble thinking about this one, as I don’t think that I have any books/songs that remind me of some of my happiest memories. To be honest it would probably be one of Taylor Swift’s backlist songs which reminds me of happy memories.
Finish the sentence: once upon a time, there lived a turtle in…
Once upon a time, there lived a turtle in the great blue ocean!
Do you have an aesthetic?/What is your favourite aestheitc?
I don’t really have any kind of aesthetic and would have no clue where to start. I always just go with what I think looks like and stick to that method.
What does your dream library look like?
My dream library is somewhere extremely cosy, with a comfy chair that I can just sink into. I would love to be able to have floor to ceiling bookshelves, which would probably still not be enough for all the books that I have. It has always been a dream of mine to require a ladder to reach the top shelves of my bookcases so that would be a necessity.
If you create a new animal, what would it look like?
I’m not that inventive so it would probably be some new kind of dog. It would have to be extremely fluffy but be small enough to sit on my lap.
What was something fun you made as a kid?
At what point do I stop being a kid. I was never a particularly creative child so I didn’t ever make that mush. The most fun thing I have probably made is some lego kits recently.
What creative talent do you wish you had?
I wish I had the ability to draw. Drawing is something that I am terrible at, so it would be amazing to be better at it. I also wish that I could sing a little bit better as music is something that I love.
If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower I would probably go with something simple like the ability to fly. It would just make my day so much easier if I didn’t have to worry about traffic times and how long it would take me to get somewhere. It would also mean that I could have a little bit longer in bed in the morning, and who doesn’t want that!
What is a movie/tv show you think actually did justice for the book?
If you had asked me before Shadow and Bone I would have probably said The Mortal Instruments movie. I know many people didn’t like that film but I absolutely adored it. Now Shadow and Bone has been released I have to say that as it was everything that I wanted from an adaptation, from the actors to the costumes. It was perfect!
Do you have any books that you had to read for school that you actually ended up enjoying?
I don’t! All the books that I read in school I didn’t like, mainly because they were out of the genres that I typically read so I found them all very boring. The two that I most remember reading was The Woman in Black by Susan Hill and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. I also think that in school you are made to look so deeply into the authors intentions that it takes some of the fun out of reading.
Who is one of your auto-buy authors?
The author that I am most desperate to buy as soon as a new book is announced is Sarah J. Maas. Which is ironic as I still haven’t managed to finish A Court of Silver Flames.

What is the one thing you would have to take to a desert island?
Thank you so much once again to everyone who nominated me! I can’t wait to hear everyone’s answers but pleased don’t feel pressured to do the tag!
