Hey guys, it’s Tuesday again so it means it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is ten books that are in my spring TBR.
Throne of Glass (All the Throne of Glass series) by Sarah J Maas

I have read all of Sarah J. Maas’s other works so I just need to get round to this series. I have heard that it does take quite a while to get into, and that it really comes into its own after book three. Fingers crossed I can manage to finish this series in 2021 to get them off my TBR.
The City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty

The City of Brass is a book that I am desperate to finally get too. I have heard amazing things about this series and everyone raves about it. I also have the stunning Fairyloot special editions which look amazing on my shelves, now I just need to start the series. I am also a massive fan of books that are inspired by mythology and I know that this series is inspired by Egyptian mythology, so hopefully I end up loving it.
Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb

I was meant to have read Assassin’s Apprentice all the way back in April to join in with Catch-Up Book Club, but I never ended up reading it. I am hoping to finally get to the series in 2021, because I know that it is a fantasy series that is always recommended. It is on my TBR for March so fingers crossed I finally read it this month.
The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

I really want to get into Brandon Sanderson’s adult fantasy books, and I have heard that Mistborn is the best way to start. I am trying to get more into adult fantasy so I hope that The Final Empire will be the start of something.
Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco

Capturing the Devil has been on so many TBRs because I really need to finish the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. I am terrible at finishing series, so I need to make Capturing the Devil a priority this year. I have enjoyed the series so far, so I’m not sure why it has taken me this long to finish it.
Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Red Rising is a science fiction series that I really need to get to. I have heard amazing things about it and it sounds like a science fiction series that I am going to end up adoring. I don’t know that much about the series, but I have heard that that is the best way to go into this series. Hopefully I will be able to catch up with the series in 2021.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Lanni Taylor

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is a YA book that I should have really read by now. It has everything in that means that I should fall in love with it, so fingers crossed that I can confirm in 2021 whether that is true or not. I am really intrigued by the story, and all of the tag lines make me want to dive straight in, especially when they mention an angel and a devil.
XX by Rian Hughes

I have heard amazing things about this book and how it is a science fiction story with some interesting mixed media included. Mixed Media books are something that I have recently discovered, so I am really intrigued by what is included in XX.
Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevado

I have been meaning to read more books that are told in verse, so I think Clap When You Land is an amazing place to start. I have heard everyone raving about this book, and I can’t wait to discover it for myself.
Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid

Such a Fun Age is a book that I am desperate to get to as I have heard nothing but amazing things about it. It also won the Goodreads Choice Award for best Debut Novel so I can’t wait to dive into it.
What books do you desperately want to get to in 2021? Let me know in the comments below
I really liked Red Rising but I haven’t continued on with the series. I really need to!

Ahh you have some great series ahead! I loved Daevabad trilogy and DoSaB. I thought the earlier Throne of Glass books were better than the later ones…I didn’t realise I was so contrary!

Great list! I totally forgot about Clap When You Land but that’s also high up on my want-to-read-asap list! I still need to finish the last book of ToG but I remember really enjoying the series (it was my first taste of Maas’ books). I hope you enjoy all these reads 🙂

I’ve read ToG but haven’t continued with the series. I want to, though! I also want to read The City of Brass and Red Rising. I’ve heard so many good things about Red Rising and I’ve had it on my shelf for years. Happy reading!

The City of Brass was one of my favourite reads of last year, it was so good. I liked Daughter of Smoke and Bone too. Capturing The Devil was a little bit of a disappointment for me though. I enjoyed the Throne of Glass series, the third book was definitely the best one for me.
