WWW Wednesdays – 20th January 2021

Hey Everyone, I hope you are doing well! Welcome to my WWW Wednesday post for this week. WWW Wednesday’s is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and all it involves is answering three simple questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently I am reading From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout. I have completely abandoned my plans for my January TBR because I want to find out what the hype is about this series. So far I am absolutely loving it, and can’t wait to carry on reading. I am only 150 pages in so far but I am loving the characters of Poppy and Hawke and can’t wait to see where their relationship is going to go.

Most recently I have finished The Twisted Tree by Rachel Burge. I really enjoyed this one and it had a great atmosphere which fitted the book. I can’t wait to be able to start the sequel, especially as The Twisted Tree ended on a bit of a plot twist. I also temporarily DNFed my read of Secrets of the Starcrossed by Clara O’Conner because I wasn’t really enjoying it like I thought I would. I will probably go back to it at the end of the month but I’m not completely sure.

Next I have plans to read A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L Armentrout which is the sequel from From Blood and Ash. Because I am loving From Blood and Ash so much, I just want to dive into the sequel. Fingers crossed I love it as much as I do the first. I also want to start Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo as I want to have finished the Six of Crows duology before the start of the Shadow and Bone TV series in April 2021.

What are you currently reading? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Why is everybody suddenly reading The Twisted Tree?! T_T This is the second time this week I’ve read about the duology, and I’m a little salty because my library had it until, like, two months ago and it must’ve got weeded in the last round of weeding. D: So now I have to find a copy before I can read it LOL. It sounds like a great read, though!

    Here’s my WWW post.
